Your six-figure career begins after this newsletter!
Hi, Creatives. (Yeah, we’re settling😉)
Hope you are getting ready for a promotion.
If yes, congratulations!😀
If no, well, today’s newsletter will guide you on how to find your niche so you can get promoted in no time😊.
Welcome to yet another edition of the Creaitz newsletter.
Let’s get started…
What is a Niche?
Straight from our blog, a niche is a specific area within a larger field where you focus on.
For example, in the field of writing, instead of trying to write about everything, you can decide to focus on financial writing.
Focusing on a specific market segment—your niche—can lead to greater financial opportunities and career success than trying to appeal to everyone.
What Has Ikigai Got to Do With It?
Ikigai is a Japanese concept originating from Okinawa, an island known for its residents’ long life expectancy.
It’s often compared to the Danish idea of "hygge" in that it’s difficult to translate into a single word.
The term "ikigai" combines "iki" (to live) and "kai" (effect or result), meaning "a reason for living" or "purpose."
It’s about having a meaningful direction in life—a reason to get up in the morning.
How to Find Your Niche With Ikigai
To feel fulfilled in your career, Ikigai suggests balancing four key elements:
Passion: What you love doing.
Ask yourself what you love doing. This could be anything you enjoy or feel deeply passionate about.
Vocation: What you're good at.
What are you naturally good at? Think about the skills you’ve developed or the talents you have that come effortlessly.
Profession: What people will pay you for.
Identify what people are willing to pay for. What services or expertise can you offer that provides value and is in demand?
Mission: What the world needs.
Consider what the world needs. What problems or gaps can you help solve in a way that aligns with your values?
Answering these four questions will give you insight on how to find your niche. We hope this helps.
P.S: You can send us your answers to these questions and we’ll help you find a niche.😉
